My father was catching a flight for business and we arrived not 10 minutes after they started boarding. I realize this is a tad bit tardy but the airport had literally NO ONE working behind the counter to check him and his bags in so he completely missed his flight. The security gate was still open and every other damn airport in the country goes by the rule that the security gate does not close until 10 minutes before the plane leaves. There was no one behind the counter to check my fathers bags that he could not carry through security. Either hire more people to work the front desk AND ONLY THE FRONT DESK or have some way that the people needing assistance can get in contact with someone to come help them. Very disappointed with the customer service. When someone finally did show up to help him, his plane had already departed. The woman's excuse was that they leave the desk 30 minutes before the plane leaves. When the national rule for every other airport is 10 minutes, don't leave your desk 20 minutes early! So thanks to the wonderful people at Gregg county airport for making my father a day late for his job! Don't use this airport. It would be easier to just drive to Shreveport than to have your hopes let down by this group of dumbasses that obviously care nothing about the people they are serving. If I could give zero stars I would!
Love my hometown airport and the great staff, except for one person who really displays a negative attitude every time we approach the counter. We actually dread each encounter...hoping one day she finds a happier position!
I love how convenient this airport is. The parking situation is great too. I just wish there were more airlines that flew here other than just American.
This is a very nice modern little airport. Well designed. Easy driving in and out. Everyone was frendly.
Nice airport. FYI, if you need a ride into town, Yellow-cab will cost about $30. Or you can rent a car from Enterprise, for an entire day, for $26. And they pick you up and drop you off from the airport. Taxis suck. I wish I had a job where I could gross $32 in 18 minutes. Thats about $90/ hour!
