Was doing my shopping and happened to witness a woman being verbally attacked by employees and cornered after using the restroom. Apparently an employee had made a comment about thinking she was a guy but was very obviously a female. I'm assuming it was the manager on duty who started yelling at this poor girl and wouldn't listen to anything she tried to say. He told her she had to use the family restroom because of that one employee and threatened to call the cops after she said she would call her lawyer. I hope she does because that was harassment at its finest. I don't know if the employee was jealous or just didn't like this person but that was uncalled for.
Have had lots of issues out of Assistant Store Manager Anthony. On 10/8/17 I lost two items worth $160.00 and he had a grungy ,unwashed hair, teeth missing fellow to look it up on camera which showed that I left it at a self service checkout. Anthony got up in my face looking unhinged saying there was nothing he could about my problem and I left the store.He DID NOT try to help by taking my information just in case it was returned.The next day my wife called the store and was told someone had returned it to the store.
Easily found the items I wanted to purchase due to familiarity with the store. Door greeter acknowledged me both entering and leaving the store. Absolutely enjoying the new self check out registers - none of the glitches and hold ups of the previous ones.
Approximately three days ago I returned two identical item with different ID numbers and the clerk processed it after looking at the items being the same but with different ID numbers.
On 10/6/17 purchased itemsat Walmart. Today 10/31/17 I called Walmart customer service because they would not return an item at the Gilmer Rd store and I was talked to very rudely by the customer service clerk. I asked to speak to a manager who told the rude clerk to call the Walmart store where the problem was. Anthony talked to Customer service and afterward seemed very irritated. Anthony looked at the receipt and the item ( picture ) which were exactly the same and said he would not take back the item saying that the computer would not return it and there was nothing he could do about it.
I love Walmart, but the employees are too nonchalant when checking. With a wrap around line, they have know since of ergency . There are some that are great, but I expirence employees with more negative attitudes than positive. I think re- training in the importance of customer service would make the company thrive even more.
Love Walmart ... Always super low prices and great deals. Also we love self check out it's easier and less stressful
I did notice one negative thing posted at the entrance to the parking lot which read no tractors/trailers overnight parking. Not really sure why that changed but I always viewed it as plus for Wal Mart to extend that courtesy to our hard working truckers.
