Wonderful place. It's in town, but has that country store feeling and friendly atmosphere. Prices may be a few cents more, but worth it. Trust me. Also the best meat market within 50 miles.
Great store with an old fashioned kick.
The people are always great. The butcher shop is just amazing. They'll help you find the perfect steak or pick it yourself. I can always find the cheese I need for a specific dish. They have fresh produce from local growers. Also a good wine selection and beer. One other drink perk is the bottled sodas they have. A great selection of cane sugar and natural soda. A good in and out stop or a full shopping trip. I love this store.
I gave Skinners a 5 because they have a fantastic meat dept. The meat is a little more expensive but def worth it! After only a couple of times going the checkers remembered my name! They are always nice to me and it doesn't matter if I'm a mess and still in p.j.s or my Sunday best.....they treat me the same everytime! And extremely nice to me! Oh and the best part is when I need something from a shelf somebody pops up and helps me get it down. They have wheelchair Access also! And I know this cause I'm paralyzed and in a wheelchair... .☺
Best meat market around. Employees are always nice, courteous and eager to assist you.
