Called to check availability of a component. I apparently interrupted something much more important than me. Chrystal (the person who answered the phone) seemed quite put out when I asked her if they had the part I needed. They didn't and when I asked if they could point me to someone who did, or, if they could order one for me, she didn't even answer me.
This same type scenario happened the last time I contacted them. I won't call them again.
Longview Computer Center is my go to place for computer parts and accessories. I have purchased a computer monitor, keyboards, and various other components from them. They even have those hard to find parts you may not be able to get anywhere else in town. If they don't have what you're looking for they can special order it and get it in pretty quickly. When I stopped in recently there was a man who owned a computer repair business that needed a particular kind of RAM for a computer he was working on. They didn't have it in stock but they were able to special order it for him and get it there NEXT DAY. And did I mention when he stopped in to order it that it was after 3 PM? That's unheard of in the shipping industry especially for the price he paid for the RAM. I also hear they are excellent and quick at fixing computers. If you're looking for exceptional customer service Longview Computer Center is your go-to-place!
Came it right at closing and they were very nice, didn't push me out. Needed a power cord and I don't think they had one, but they pulled one off a power source and gave me a great deal.
