I got the Hibachi Chicken and Fried Rice. The chicken was spongy, gross, and tasted like they dumped canned chicken on a grill. The Fried Rice tasted like it was steamed and then fried on the grill. It's $2.50 to get Fried Rice vs Steamed, and they give you two pieces of shrimp. I told my waiter of my concerns with the food. They took everything off besides the side of veggies ($3.00), the salad ($2.00), and the two pieces of shrimp I got. They charged ($2.00) for the two pieces of shrimp, which is ridiculous. I would not recommend going here to eat their Hibachi dinners. Kobee or Sumo is by far the way to go if you're in Longview. This was my first experience here and I will not be a returning customer. I give them a two-star only because my waiter was very pro-active and help with the food situation. I left there unsatisfied and with a loss of about $8.00 after taxes.
Best sushi restaurant I have find in East Texas so far. Tuna is fresh and never frozen, sushi rice is made the old fashioned way with home made vinegar slurry. Salad dressing is also scratch made and incredibly addictive, I highly recommend it. Having reviewed over 100 sushi restaurants, I would put this one in the top 10 in texas. Can't wait to come back!! P.S. great lunch specials and pricing is very reasonable.
Update: Quality has really gone down here and the sushi chefs were doing some pretty gross stuff like rubbing there noses allot and handling their cell phones without washing their hands and no gloves before continuing to make sushi. Lunch specials aren't special because they skimp on the portions plus their rice is under cooked and under seasoned. Sad to see a good sushi place take such a turn. Won't be back particularly because I'm not interesting in trying the snot roll.
Very good service and delicious sushi
Love this place, we always enjoy the food here and the staff. Wish they had more pictures pictures of the items on menus and other items they do offer. It would help., especially on their specials not really sure what they would come out looking like. But overall a great experience.
Good size sushi menu, small dinner entree menu. Had a lemon roll and hibachi chicken. All of the components were cooked separately, veggies were steamed, simple noodles on the side (might have been spaghetti), with sauce poured over the top. Not impressed, go for the rolls and head to an actual hibachi restaurant if that's what you want. Husband ordered Yaki soba but I think they made it with ramen noodles and lettuce (instead of cabbage). Overall it all tasted fine, restaurant was nice and clean with friendly service.
