Charged me for a 600.00 consultation then dropped my insurance carrier the next week! Also told me I needed a surgery that I didn’t need and another doctor told me was completely irresponsible. Thank God this other dr probably saved my life. He is a crook! His staff is so unprofessional!
Dr. Guillory was a very nice man. I was excited to have him as my doctor, I felt he was very capable. His office however, let me just start by mentioning I'm a college student, so what they did to me was a MASSIVE inconvenience. I had my surgery scheduled for a month, I had been to his office for an appointment previously, everything was good. I went for my pre op appointment this afternoon and as I was filling out the paper work I get a call from his office. My surgery was canceled due to my insurance no longer being in their network. How long did they know? You couldn't have called and told me this before I missed classes, drove 1.5-2 hours, and scheduled to miss work. You couldn't have told me this when there were more than 2 days before my surgery? Also I'd like to note that if my surgery was already scheduled before they were out of network, they still should have been able to do my surgery. So, in conclusion: I do NOT recommend these people. Dr. Guillory's staff didn't even care that they were inconveniencing me and they wouldn't even recommend another doctor.
Met this doctor back in August for the possibility of a tonsillectomy and ear tubes for my youngest son. Our meeting with the doctor was awesome he has excellent bedside manner with the kids and makes things intelligible to the parent as well. His office staff is another matter. I have made several phone calls to his office just to get the runaround. One individual even told me that she would talk to the doctor and get back to me ASAP, that was a week ago. I reached out to the referral source, they were absolutely flabbergasted when they found out that no one from doctor Guillory's office had contacted me. I will keep you all posted after our visit on Friday.
Dr.Guillory himself is great. He's been amazing with us. I've used him. He clipped my youngest daughters tongue tie. And did my oldest daughters surgery. However his office staff really bites! I've had to call his office several times post operative for questions or requests for medication. I'm either told he's out and they can't reach him (no on call doctor?). They say they will call back and don't. Or I speak to someone who gives me less information than Google forums. Dealing with a child after surgery is hard enough. Finally called the recovery station at the hospital with my concerns and questions. Dr.G thumbs up.

Dr. Guillory is in our HMO network and was our closest option (40 miles away) for an ENT. I can't rate his service since he denied our referral. I don't understand why they won't tell you why you are denied. Very disappointing since the next closest is 100 miles away.
