The room was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The ghetto thugs were overly friendly before I even got my bags out of my car. Fortunately, I am not an easily intimidated person, so I made short rift of his attempt to sell me drugs, prostitutes, etc. Consequently, I would recommend that only ARMED guests consider this motel. Older persons are very much at risk. Clean up the riff-raff hanging around and this would be a very nice motel.
The front office staff were friendly and helpful.
The check in lady was very accommodating and let us check in early, as well as check out late. The room was more on the modern side, however you had to pay for shampoo and we had to turn in our driver's license in order to get a hair dryer. Never had to do that before. Also, housekeeping came by twice before 9:30 am on our last day "making sure we were still there". Not cool as it woke my husband up both times. One of the couples we were with had to wait over 45 minutes as the one person checking in had locked the door because he was out on the property.
The main issue was the bathroom plumbing backed up on my final night, most likely due to the recent heavy rain. Because of this I was unable to use the restroom/shower the last day of my stay. Also the people in the room next to me were consistently going in and out, and having friends over who did not appear to be registered guests.
The room was a bit sparse with furnishings, but was clean. The bedding appeared to be clean, it was just very worn, with several cigarette burns on the bed cover.
Room was pretty clean everything was in good condition the rooms were decent enough for a $51 room service was friendly neighborhood was quiet no problems minor roach issues...
Very simple rooms with tile flooring. Nice to stay in if you carry a dog with you. Only complaint is I booked months in advance and requested a non smoking room. We ended up with a smoking room. Not a deal breaker but next year hoping to get a non smelly room!
